Jungle Time Out Critics' Choice 'Jungle' enjoyed a sell out run at Camden People's Theatre in 2001, where it was awarded Time Out Critics' Choice two weeks running. Subsequently the production transferred to BAC as part of the Time Out Critics' Choice Spring Season 2002, remaining Critics Choice for a further three weeks The production was then invited to The Theatre Royal Bath as part of the 'Wild & Wacky' Festival of Theatre. Inspired by Kipling's 'Jungle Books', a core team of five collaborated to produce a unique piece of fast paced, visual, physical theatre 'Jungle' creates the illusion of an entire kingdom with only three performers and a couple of dustbins and, as described by The Stage 'pushes storytelling to the fore'. The King of Schnorrers Adapted from Israel Zangwill's novel, 'The King of Schnorrers' premiered in 1999. Winning a commendation for storytelling at the NSDF 2000, this vigorous two man show toured the country to critical acclaim, culminating in sell out runs in London and at the Edinburgh Festival. Providing scope for school and youth group workshops, 'The King of Schnorrers' formed a cross-cultural bridge to the Jewish community prompting Labyrinth member Robert Messik to write and produce the documentary 'Reintroducing Israel Zangwill'.Filmed in association with Lizard Republic and narrated by Simon Callow, it is a documentary driven by one question: 'Why has Israel Zangwill, author of 'The King Of Schnorrers', a contemporary of Shaw and Kipling, hero of the suffragette and Zionist movements, been forgotten by today's society?'
